SATURDAY 12/09/26
GRANITE GROMS / SPLASH & DASH (ages 5-12)
An opportunity for 'Granite Groms' to take part in the weekend with this fun, inclusive event delivered by Try A Tri Guernsey. Varying distances for each age group, all taking place on the beach, within depth. Wetsuits are not essential.
Ages 11-12 (start at 10.15am): swim 150m / two circuits using a bobber placed out of depth, run 2 laps of the 'Sandy Headland loop', approx 1.2km, trainers must be worn on feet!
Ages 9&10 (start at 10.15am): swim approx 75m around a bobber placed out of depth, run 1 laps of the 'Sandy Headland loop' / approx 600m, trainers must be worn on feet!
Ages 7&8 (start approx 10.30am): swim approx 25m within depth, run 1 lap of a 300m beach circuit
Ages 5&6 (start approx 10.30am): a 'splash' within depth, run 1 lap of a 300m beach circuit
SIGN UP BEFORE FRIDAY 11/09
TIME: 10.15am, Sign-in from 9.45am
LOCATION: Pembroke Bay
ENTRY CRITERIA: All children must be comfortable in the water. All children over the age of 7 must be able to swim 25m unaided.
SUNDAY 13/09/26
GRANITE 100
Guernsey's only PTO distance event and a route to test your grit.
Swim: 2-lap bay circuit
Bike: 2-lap, non-drafting, circuit along the West Coast of Guernsey
Run: 18km offroad. The final 5km of the 18km run is a descent to below sea level in the Ronez quarry and back up again.

RACE START: approx 7am (TBC)
LOCATION: Peninsula Hotel & Surrounds
ENTRY CRITERIA: All competitors must be aged 18 or over. 2km sea swim must be completed in (1 hr), total event (swim, bike and run) must be completed in 7.5 hrs.
GRANITE SPRINT
For those who prefer something a little shorter and sweeter, but still want to test their grit.
Swim: 1km sea swim
Bike: 30km, non-drafting, along the West Coast of Guernsey
Run: 6km offroad, including one descent to sub-40 metres
RACE START: Approx 7.15am
LOCATION: Peninsula Hotel & Surrounds
ENTRY CRITERIA: All competitors must be over 18 and able to swim 1km in the open water
